South Tangerang, January 8, 2026 – As a form of commitment to environmental sustainability and community empowerment, Cermati Fintech Group implement the program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) focused on waste reduction and utilization, Thursday (January 8, 2026). Through collaboration with waste banks Kertabumi This CSR program is a concrete step for the company in realizing the principles of a circular economy.
Through an ecosystem of entities that includes Cermati, Cermati Protect, Cermati Invest, Indodana Finance, And Fintech Son, Cermati Fintech Group contributed to the procurement of an inorganic waste processing machine at the Kertabumi Recycling Center in South Tangerang. The recycling machine can recycle 20 tons per month, equivalent to approximately 240 tons of waste annually. The machine’s lifespan is expected to be up to 15 years. Therefore, in 15 years, Cermati Fintech Group could contribute to recycling 3,600 tons of waste with Kertabumi.

In addition to engine support, Cermati Fintech Group also focuses on managing inorganic waste from various operational materials ranging from paper, cloth, to plastic & impraboard. This program initiative has successfully collected up to 660 kilograms of combined waste which will be reprocessed through the skilled hands of Kertabumi colleagues, local residents who are members of Karang Taruna and PKK into handicraft products that have economic value.
Furthermore, these handicrafts will be marketed in galleries and also through Kertabumi social media. Cermati Fintech Group really appreciate the commitment Kertabumi that every rupiah generated from sales will be reinvested to support the operations and welfare of residents, ensuring that the wheels of this circular economy continue to move and provide sustainable benefits.
This waste management program is a concrete step that demonstrates that the company’s grand vision is not limited to digital financial solutions but also includes active contributions to the sustainability ecosystem in Indonesia.

Cermati Fintech Group CEO, Andhy Koesnandar said, “We believe that business growth should not neglect responsibility for preserving nature and the environment. Through the use of materials branding Being a functional product, we take a creative approach to minimize our operational carbon footprint and ensure our promotional materials have a longer and more useful life cycle.”
President Director of Indodana Fintech, Ronny Wijaya, He added, “This initiative represents a concrete step towards building a sustainable financial technology ecosystem. We want the presence of our digital solutions in society to go hand in hand with a positive impact on the preservation of natural ecosystems, so that innovation and nature can grow together in harmony.”
Director of Indodana Finance, Iwan Dewanto, emphasizes that in addition to environmental awareness and future sustainability, we must also implement community empowerment. Through this program, we aim to shift the paradigm that waste is not the end of a process, but rather the beginning of new value. With proper processing, waste can be transformed into finished goods that have benefits, economic value, and utility for the community. “Our focus is not just on waste processing machines, but on improving community empowerment. Through this support, we hope that residents around the Kertabumi Recycling Center can hone their creative economic potential, so that the managed waste can provide financial added value and they can see business opportunities that can grow from the recycling process to create community welfare.”
