In the spirit of sharing and protecting the earth, Kertabumi Recycling Center together Yayasan Kasih PAMA hold activities recycling workshop which involves 129 children from two orphanages. This activity is part of the program social service which not only focuses on material assistance, but also on environmental empowerment and education.
This workshop is designed as an activity productive and enjoyable for children, where they are invited to get to know various types of waste, understand the importance of sorting, and be creative in changing inorganic waste into useful items such as Cell Phone Cases and Drawstring Bracelets.
More than just a creative activity, this program is an educational space that opens up insights about Konsep reduce, reuse, and recycle (3R). Children are introduced to the importance of their role in protecting the environment, and how small actions such as recycling can have a big impact on the planet.
Not only that, activities are also combined with delivery of aid to the two orphanages, as a form of social care from the Yayasan Kasih PAMA.
Through this collaboration, it is hoped that it will not only provide momentary benefits, but also create long term awareness for the younger generation to grow as individuals who care about the environment and each other.Let’s continue to support movements that combine social good and environmental sustainability.
