South Tangerang, [15 January 2025] – Miss Eco Indonesia visited the Kertabumi Recycling Center in an effort to increase awareness of the importance of recycling and environmental sustainability. This visit aims to see firsthand how waste management can be processed into valuable products and to provide education to the public about the importance of an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
During the visit, Miss Eco Indonesia had the opportunity to witness various waste processing processes, from sorting, shredding plastic, to making recycled products. Participants were also given an understanding of the impact of waste on the environment and how each individual can contribute to reducing their ecological footprint.
“I am very inspired by how the Kertabumi Recycling Center manages waste and turns it into something useful. “This shows that waste is not the end of everything, but rather the beginning of new opportunities to create a cleaner and more sustainable environment,” said Miss Eco Indonesia, Yulinar Fitriani.
This visit was also an opportunity for discussion about innovation in the field of sustainability, including how to introduce the circular economy concept in society. With increasing support from various parties, it is hoped that awareness of the importance of good waste management can continue to increase.
