Waste management is a series of activities and actions taken to manage waste efficiently and responsibly. Waste management involves various processes such as collection, transportation, processing and recycling. The main goal of waste management is to reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment, human health and aesthetics.
This time Kertabumi participated in the 12th anniversary activities of Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) to carry out waste management by providing separate waste disposal facilities, educating visitors to sort waste, recording and weighing all the waste produced and later all the waste collected will be taken to Kertabumi workshop to be recycled into new products.
This activity is organized by PT Pupuk Indonesia which is an Indonesian state-owned company which is mainly engaged in the production of fertilizers and chemicals.
This event will take place on Sunday, April 28 2024 from 14.30 – 20.30 WIB located at Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta. Kertabumi managed to collect more than 899.7 kg of inorganic & organic waste during the event.
