Establishment of Waste Bank & UMKM Recycling Development Program

On this occasion, Kertabumi participated in the Waste Bank and Recycling UMKM Development Program activities as a facilitator and mentor in assisting the establishment of a new waste bank and efforts to make the waste bank into a Recycling UMKM that can continuously build personal branding with the aim of introducing it to the local community. the place where this program is held to participate in protecting the environment.

This activity was organized by PT Godrej Consumer Products Indonesia, which is a household and personal care company serving 16 million households in Indonesia. PT Godrej Consumer Products Indonesia is a company originating from India called Godrej which has been established since 1897.

The Waste Bank and UMKM Recycling Development Program activities were carried out in RW 13 Kp. Parung Tanjung, Cicadas Village, Gunung Putri District, Bogor Regency. This program is implemented as a form of corporate responsibility towards the environment. This program starts in February 2023 until February 2024. The total waste that was saved at the Waste Bank in this activity was 2,262.2 kg.
