Cleanup & Workshop with PLN Main Unit P2B JAKBAN & JAMALI in the context of Green Employee Envolvement

“Cleanup” is a term used to refer to the activity of cleaning an area from trash, pollution, or other hazardous materials. This activity can be carried out in various environments, including cities, beaches, rivers, forests, and other areas that require attention. Cleanups often involve the participation of volunteers and organizations that care about environmental cleanliness and sustainability.

On this occasion, Kertabumi participated in a waste cleanup activity in one environment, then the collected waste will be transported by the local Environmental Service and appropriate waste will be taken to the Kertabumi Waste Bank to be recycled together with employees from PLN UIP2B.

This Cleanup activity was organized by PLN UIP2B JAKBAN & JAMALI which is part of PT. PLN Persero which is A state-owned enterprises Indonesia who moves in the field electricity. This activity aims to commemorate World Environment Day which falls on June 5 2024. This activity also includes several programs, namely Employee Volunteering Program (EVP), Planting Tree Seedlings and Cleaning the Environment to make it greener and better maintained.

This activity takes place on Monday, 03 June 2024 from 08.00-15.30 WIB located at The Situ Gintung Reservoir was attended by the Situ Gintung sub-district and several NGOs and the local Waste Bank community and continued with education and plastic waste recycling workshops in the Kertabumi workshop area. Around 58kg of waste was collected during the cleanup activity.
