Kertabumi Recycling Center received a visit from Cikal School students. This visit is part of an environmental education program which aims to introduce students to the importance of responsible waste management, from sorting to recycling, both organic and inorganic waste.

During the activity, students were invited to see firsthand the waste management process at the Kertabumi Recycling Center. They learn how inorganic waste such as plastic, paper and bottles can be reprocessed into products that are useful and have economic value, such as recycled bags, plaques and furniture. On the other hand, students are also introduced to the process of processing organic waste through making compost, biopori and eco enzyme.
Not only learning in theory, the students also follow along workshop interactive to try recycling directly. They looked enthusiastic when making products from recycled materials and witnessed the results of environmentally friendly processing of organic waste.

It is hoped that this activity can raise awareness from an early age about the importance of protecting the environment through wise waste management. Apart from that, this visit is a valuable momentum to instill the value of responsibility towards the earth through concrete actions.
Thank you Cikal School for visiting the Kertabumi Recycling Center. May this small step be the beginning of a big change towards a greener future!
